Episode 1: Capture the Lesseps!

Location: Alice Springs

Date: 9/17

Time: 7 PM CST



While carrying confidential dispatches and a prototype Mobile Suit designed for a top-secret Zeon operation, the Zeonic order of Muintir's Gallop-class battleship Lesseps suddenly broke radio contact and was declared missing. Worse yet- The final heading and location at which the Lesseps was lost were leaked to the Earth Forces via their intelligence network. Now teams from both nations have been dispatched to Alice Springs to hunt for the vessel. It's just a matter of time before someone finds it…




Hooray! I'm coming back from the hospital on Wednesday, and will be ready to jump back into things with a series of episodic, story-driven events I imagined while stuck in bed. These 5 events are designed to promote teamwork, and the outcome of each event will determine the contents of the next! I understand these will take a lot of organization on my part, but I sincerely hope the community will give them a shot.



Zeon Objective:

Locate the Lesseps. Once found, hail them to assess the situation and escort the vessel back to Zeon Alice Springs.



EFF Objective:

Locate the Zeon Battleship. Either obtain their surrender or send boarding parties. Once captured, escort back to EFF Alice Springs.


Rules:

You may only sign up for the event in a group. Groups must have a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6.



Groups may consist of members in differing teams, but characters must all be from one faction or the other.



Only 1 Zeon group and 1 EFF group will be on the field during the event. The event will run as many times over as it takes for all groups signed up to participate.


The Gallop will begin following your group once 4 of your members have locked on to it. If a member of the other group locks on to it, the Gallop will cease moving until the lock has broken. In the event that both groups have 4 players locked on, the Gallop will also cease movement.

If you are locking on with a saber, and I feel you are not within a reasonable range, the lock-on will be ignored. As a general guideline, do not bother locking on unless I am on your radar. Keep in mind that as soon as your lock breaks the Gallop will resume movement.

DO NOT FIRE ON THE GALLOP. Lock on only. If the Gallop is destroyed, the group responsible is automatically disqualified.

Do not get closer than 2000m to the other team's base. Players found in violation of this, or players intentionally engaging in 'camping' activities will be disqualified.

Crafted MS are permitted, so long as they are models listed as available.

All weapons are allowed, EX included. Only restriction is that no HG versions may be used.

If a player's MS is destroyed, they are allowed to get another one and return to the game as many times as desired.



The game will end when the Gallop is within 1000m of either faction's base.



Mobile Suits allowed:

Zeon- MS-09 DOM(no other DOM variants permitted), all Zaku-type MS.

EFF- RGM-79(G) Ground GM, RGM-79SC Sniper Custom, RGM-79G GM Command, and any lesser GM variants.



NO OTHER MS WILL BE ALLOWED. DO NOT ASK.

We need to have all of Muintir show up to this, if possible. No Zeon Teams registered, so we might have to give Noblesse a good run for it.

Not QUITE sure I can label it a success, but I think people had fun.
